A few weeks ago Adrian had the idea to take Alexis to the beach at Antelope Island, and boy was she excited. We invited Adrian's sister, Natalie, and her kids to come with us. It turned out to be kindof an overcast day, but the temperature was SO nice! The beach on the other hand...not so nice. We had driven around the island before, but had never actually stopped at the beach. Um yeah, now that we have, I don't know if we ever will again. Have you ever been there? Honestly, it was pretty gross. There were little brine shrimp skins EVERYWHERE in the "sand," as well as these annoying little flies...that bite! The kids went into the water, played in the sand for a few minutes and we were out of there! On a better note, we did drive around and see some buffalo. Definitely wouldn't want to come face to face with one of those guys...they're BIG!

The kids in front of a mock sheep camp (a small camper used by sheep ranchers, up on the mountain). Adrian spent a lot of time sleeping in one of these as a child, with his family, while they watched over their sheep.

Sorry the beach was nasto, oh well now you know. We took the kids out to the island (not the beach though) with Jeff's parents they had a good time.
awesome! Your little Carter is a doll! haha! I bet it's so fun having both of them.
We went camping one time on Antelope Island--I did not sleep a wink that night because I was absolutely certain one of the buffalo was going to crash into our tent!
We have never been out there! That stinks it wasn't the most fun place, but it looks like the kids still had a great time though.
