{trick-or-treat}

Yes, I know, it's officially December, and I'm just barely posting about Halloween. SLACKER!! Well, better late than never I guess. This year Halloween was really fun, because Alexis actually understood what was going on and was SO excited to dress up and go trick-or-treating. She was Rapunzel this year, and Carter sported the monkey costume that Alexis used for HER first Halloween as well. I was lame and didn't dress up, but Adrian had a pretty cool costume. He grew out his beard for over a month for it!...Look at the pictures below to check him out and see if you can guess who he is!
The afternoon of Halloween, Adrian's work had treats all around their building for the employees to have their kids come trick-or-treating, so we went to that and scored a bunch of goodies. They did the same thing last year. It's fun to take the kids to see where their daddy works, get to meet the people he works with, and see all of the other little kids in their costumes...there are some creative people out there! Then later that night we took Alexis around our ward neighborhood. She wore a darling princess dress that Adrian's mom made and she had a wig on the entire time, which she did SO awesome with. I was worried she would complain about it and want to take it off, but she didn't complain once! She just LOVES princesses (understatement of the century) and she made the cutest princess ever! It was a fun day, and my hips are still reaping it's sugary benefits!
